It is seasonal because, although it has water from a shared well, a septic system and electric baseboard heat, it sits on concrete posts rather than a full concrete basement. (If a new owner wanted to convert it to year-round, however, it could be done.) Two-thirds of the 700 sq.ft. cottage is living space featuring a large stone fireplace and two bedrooms and one-third is a deck facing the water. Half the deck is screened-in for dining in the evening when there are usually more mosquitoes and half the deck is open for day-time use. The roof over the decks has several skylights to reduce the darkening effect of so much roof. To ensure privacy, this 1.4 acre property includes 284' of waterfront (!) consisting of two lots side-by-side; one holds the cottage and one is never to be developed, to be kept in its natural state.
